Our basis philosophy is that reasonable people and reasonable lawyers (are there any of those out there?) don’t litigate; that they should instead sit around a table and negotiate fair deals.

In our practice, negotiations happen a lot, but when it does not happen, we prepare for battle with the expectation of winning. We have been disproportionately successful in the cases that we litigate, including all of those we took to the Court of Appeal.

Perhaps that is because we only recommend litigation if we believe there is a good prospect of success.
